- About Me
If I am going to do something, I will throw my whole heart into it. I am my own worst critic. I don't like. I love.
Anything Art Nouveau, I'm there. I collect buttons.
All the different sizes and shapes are simply amazing and astounding. Buttons have a lot of history. And my personal view is that they totally finish off a garment. Who needs zippers?I also love masks. They're so intricate and the whole idea of hiding yourself from the world; it's so mysterious.
Photography is something i take great joy in. I love the idea of being able to capture a moment in time. A split second. There's such beauty in that.
For a very long time i had my heart set onto going into Costume Design. If not that it would have been something in the Creative Industry.
But I hit a rough point and changed my mind and am going to start from scratch and pursue a career in Radiation Oncology. Starting uni this year and moving out of home very shortly. Huge change.Life Motto: Be a DO-eR!!!
Believe it or not those 3 words changed my life. I can't stand people talking and never following through. Yeah you can do it later. Though there is never a time like the present.- Favorite Music
MUSICA!!!
LOVE IT!! Can't live without it!
I find I am just drawn to people who are real, raw, what you see is what you get. I am sick of deception.
Music is just so hard to list.
It's medicine for the soul, and so many artists are a part of that. A few of my top favourites include: Missy Higgins, Tegan and Sara, Georgia Fair, Imogen Heap, Sarah Blasko, Death Cab for Cutie, City and Colour, Josh Pyke, Florence and the Machine, Washington, and all things MUSICAL.- Favorite Books
I get lost in Libraries...so be wary people. You're destined to spend hours in one if you come with me!!
Whether it's just a dang GOOD book that leaves me rooted to the spot; until I hit the back cover, or a book on photographpy, art, design...movement...touching imagery. There's just something about a book you can't get anywhere else.- Favorite Movies
I love films. I have a lot of love for art...and a film is FULL OF ART and I love everything associated with them.
Especially independent films. Their is a rawness you can only find in them. A sense of truth and actual reality. I love most genre's. Except for those that scare me to wits end. So I can safely say I can't stand horror. Long story actually...but a boy I know made me believe at 10 years old that the clown from 'IT' was real. I believed this until I was 14. Totally gullible you might say. Though I used to dread seeing him. I was traumatised...and he used it to his advantage. Sly bugger told me if I didn't kiss him he would die.
I love subtle, random quality humour. It just gets me all giddy inside when it's spot on! Napoleon Dynamite, Little Miss Sunshine, Garden State, Once, Little Shop of Horrors, The Producers...and so on.- Gender
