[Hilarie Burton, Rachael Sutton, and Taylor Kowalski are sitting at a table.]

Hilarie Burton: [whispers to Taylor as she throws something off screen] You suck!

Taylor Kowalski: [whispers] Shoot.

HB: Hi guys, it is Hilarie hanging out with the stars of our webisode. This is Rachael Sutton and Taylor Kowalski.

TK: Hello.

HB: And you guys are playing [pointing at Rachael] Clarisse Birdsong and Walter… [pointing at Taylor]

TK: Walter the Stage Manager.

HB: You don't have a last name!

[Taylor shakes his head no]

Rachael Sutton: Do you have a middle name? ‘The’?

TK: ‘The’.

HB: ‘The’...

TK: Stage Manager [Rachael laughs]

HB: Walter ‘the’... what is that? Is that Russian or is that Ukranian maybe? ‘The’. It's like a form of...

TK: I think it's Indian

HB: Indian? Like... okay.

TK: Native American.

HB: Native American ‘the’... gotcha.

TK: ‘Tha’.

HB: ‘Tha’! Yeah, you guys are our stars! You know, you [pointing at Rachael] are taking over the theater and you [pointing at Taylor] have been helping pretty much run…

TK: Run the theater.

HB: While old Uncle Mal…

TK: Directed some really great plays.

HB: That's true. So pretty much, it is our little theater club down here in Wilmington doing a show about a theater club in rural Florida.

TK: Yeah.

HB: And it's all Nick's brainstorm. Let's talk about Nick, real quick, cause he's actually pacing behind the camera. [Rachael and Taylor laugh] So we're gonna talk about him like he's not here. What did you guys think about Nick directing because, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret, he was a little bit nervous about it!

TK: Really?

HB: Yeah!

TK: No need to be.

HB: I didn't know he was nervous about it but apparently he was. How do you think he was directing and how do you feel his notes for you were, you know. You go first. [pointing at Taylor]

TK: Well [Nick walks on screen and stands behind Taylor while Hilarie and Rachael try not to laugh] I think Nick's a great director. As far as his notes for me, he really… he takes his time to think about it. 

HB: Yeah.

TK: He doesn't just hurry up and say something if he doesn't really mean it and he uses… I think he uses different vocabulary for each actor he works with.

HB: Like he dumbs it down for a lot of people? [Nick walks off screen]

TK: Like he dumbs it down for me big time.

HB: Yea. [Hilarie and Rachael laugh]

TK: Like he just has to say two words to me and that's pretty much it.

HB: Be Better.

TK: Be Better or-

HB: Do Gooder

TK: Talk Better.

HB: Yeah, no that's perfect.

TK: Yeah.

HB: How bout you, Rachael?

RS: Well, I don't really know. I can't really say much about his direction except I was just scared [Hilarie laughs] to do a bad job cause I didn't want him to write a review about, you know like…

HB: Well that's true cause you first met him when he was a theater critic in town.

RS: Yeah, I didn't want to get, you know, 'Rachael! Horrible! Miss-cast!'

HB: 'Rachael! Boring!'

RS: 'Forever will be Rock number 5!'

HB: Yea, no Nick... Nick had a reputation in this town for a second for being very honest and I think that's what serves to him as a director, is that he is honest…

RS: Right.

HB: …and knows what he wants before he gets into it but he also understands how to give people the freedom to kind of play around.

RS: Yeah, I mean honestly, I've never done this before but I can say that I felt respected as a performer.

HB: Yeah! Well… cause he started out as an actor so, you know... [pointing to Rachael and herself] you and I had a scene at the end of the day and I like when Nick like pulls you aside and like gives you the pep talk like… he gave me a little pep talk, I like it.

TK: Yeah.

HB: Just... hey! He's funny.

RS: He laughs too. I mean…

HB: That always makes you feel better. 

RS: Yeah.

HB: There's nothing worse than doing a funny scene then having them yell, 'Cut! Okay, let's move on.' It's like, did anybody like that? No? No? No, that's okay. 

RS: Yeah.

HB: He's a good audience.

RS: Mhmm.

HB: I gotta tell you though, we had auditions before we even wrote this thing and he did not laugh at everyone.

RS: Really?

HB: I promise you. Yeah, we had one audition in particular…

RS: I thought you two were just being really really nice.

HB: No, oh my gosh!

RS: I was thinking, ‘oh my gosh they're in such a good mood for it being 9:30!’

HB: No, Nick did not laugh at everyone so if he laughed at you then that means that you're really funny. [Rachael smiles] You're really funny! [at the camera] They're really, really funny. So, we're wrapped shooting the webisode. We're gonna edit it together and then we'll all get together and watch it before we put it out there for the entire universe to check out. So yeah, we'll come and check back in with you guys…

RS: It's a webisode.

HB: [sings] Webisode! Yeah, we're gonna have fun doing more of these, right?

TK: Yes.

HB: Awesome. Alright guys, keep an eye out. Here comes the webisodes!
