just a quick little note here to say a temporary g-bye as i depart thursday for nyc to take in my play. the first performance of Population: 8 in the fringe festival is today at 4:00 pm, and i really can't believe i'm not seeing 'opening night,' but the way i arranged my travel i was able to see three performances instead of just one. regardless of my absence, today is still a really wonderful day for me. (i imagine i slept a heck of a lot better than everyone in new york... ) this is a rare, rare experience. i can barely believe it. though my anticipation continues to grow for Pedestrian to come to fruition, today i am experiencing something magnificent - 9 brilliant actors bringing my text to life, a text i gave my heart to and fell in love with. i am giving much thanks today!
you may well notice that you didn't get to meet steven howell in a vlog, and nor will you meet the actress in today's promo pic, morganna bridgers. at least not before the launch of Friendship Union Community Theater... a snag for which we are dually apologetic. but we promise to make up for that in the very near future. for today, meet crimson lacroix. she's a bad, bad bitch! there is little i can proffer in the way of character description that could up my aforementioned statement. she's a meanie. for real. and when you see what she pulls during her audition with clarisse birdsong, methinks you might choke.
so, here's the deal. FRIENDSHIP UNION COMMUNITY THEATER premieres FRIDAY! FRIDAY! FRIDAY! our friends on twitter will receive an exact launch time sometime tomorrow...

Nick, I saw the opening of Population 8 as well. It was so great! I loved it. The actors were awesome and I thought they totally fit their roles. The crowd seemed to really enjoy it too! I brought my parents with me and they told me to make sure I said that they really enjoyed it as well. So glad you're able to see it this weekend. I would so go see it again this weekend if I didn't have to move back to school :( I'm happy I was able to go today though.
