for those of you hungrily awaiting some haiku clout, here it is...

having used her no-nonsense detective skills to interpret the scant clues we have lain about with regards to pedestrian, the overall haiku queen is NIAMH for this gem:

"Mona Mills, you'll be
The death of me and ev'ry
Other man you see."

truth be told, i did make an edit to make it a true blue haiku, but lincoln would agree, this is a dynamite read on miss mona mills.

in the "SoGo-inspired category," niamh takes it again:

"Now, Southern Gothic,
The little engine that could,
Goes full steam ahead."

wear your crown with pride! brag, even.

in the "completely random and having nothing to do with pedestrian or SGP-category," the sceptor passes to TYSHERA with this odd little wonder:

"Sex is the pepsi
Love is like dr. pepper
Which one tastes better?"

somehow, you have crept into mona's strange little hotel of a mind, spent a night or two there, and spit out something that she would definitely say, whether meaning to or not. in fact, there is an already-existing reference to dr. pepper in pedestrian. so, props!

and lastly, in the "this didn't go unnoticed category," i decree an honorable mention to MEGAN MARY. one evening while lurking, as i believe the kids call it, i spied megan giving her fellow chatters a hard time for not yet giving haiku the ol' college try. that's a die-hard fan. if i owned a bust of bruce willis, i'd bronze it for you.
