Great idea to share with us some nice films we can watch ... I think i'm going to watch Wuthering heights as soon as possible..and I find that Peter pan is a cute and innocent Love story!I have to share with all of you a Film that I Love: It's called "pride and prejudice" With keira Knightley ..and i really love this love story ..it's just beautiful..
I had a great V-day, with my valentin...we spent the day watching movies ..and it was really nice..

The V-Day VLog is very nice. Thxs for the great film list. It's totally right what you're saying. The family is one of the most important thing in our lifes. Without a family the life wouldn't be liveable. there would be an emptiness in your hearts.

I agree with you, Valentines day doesn't have to be terrible! My girlfriends and I usually go out every year or stay in and just spend time together, and I love it! After all, it's about being with the people you love...it doesn't necessarily mean being in a relationship.
I love that you mentioned the new Peter Pan...having just recently seen it myself, it definitely portrayed the love between Peter and Wendy much better than the original. It was such a lovely film. Might I suggest Love Actually as another great romantic/love movie? It's a great movie! Not all the characters get their happy ending, but that's what makes it so great; it's realistic.

hmm... i've never thought of Peter Pan like that before. I Haven't watched Peter Pan since I was a little kid so I never really knew the true meaning behind it. The next time I watch it all definitely
have a better understanding of the story now. I never knew they made another re-make of it either. I watched a movie called "finding neverland" which is inspired by peter pan. Anyway, I watched the Time traveler's wife on valentines day. It was a great love story but a real tear jerker.
I read a quote a long time ago and it was inspired by Peter Pan...I am not exactly sure who said it though, but I'll i know is that i have held on to it since the first moment I read it so I am guessing it meant more to me then i originally thought.

OMG!! I started jumping on my bed when you said 'Peter Pan'... It was on television a little while ago and it was so good! I was just surprised how good it was and it was such a sweet movie... Definitely got a place on my fave movie list. And The Sound of Music brings back some good old memories :) I used to watch that quite a lot when I was about 10 years younger, and I used to sing all those songs over and over again with my sisters (as loud as possible of course). Great movie! I didn't know the first ones though, should look those up!
And I think congratulations are in order..! Weddings are so lovely! And also everything around it - the arranging, meeting friends & family just a few times more, etc. Anyways, congratulations :)
I actually had my best Valentine's day ever.. I spent it with family and some real good friends. I don't see them too often so it was a wonderful day for me. But apart from that I don't really do Valentine's day... Why pick only one day to show your love for someone (or even family/ friends). You've got 365 per year to do that! But I guess it's a nice day for people who actually have dates ;p

Wow, Wuthering Heights it's one of the most powerful love stories that I've ever read (and seen) in my life, very good choice. Love in the time of Cholera is a good one too, better the book than the movie. But my all time favourite love story is Dracula, love never dies, right?

There was a pretty good remake of Wuthering Heights done last year, with Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley in the lead roles. I liked the fact that the actors in this version were Northern English, as opposed to London types - the book is set in Yorkshire after all, so it makes sense, and really helped convey the wildness and earthiness of the characters. Worth a look :).

I absolutely LOVE Wuthering Heights, well the book, I haven't seen the movie yet! It's sitting on my ledge next to my bed :) Another good, all time romantic disney movie is Beauty and the Beast, plus there's a little scary-ness to it for those who like a thriller haha ;)

I'm spending Valentines with my best friend and probably a few work collegues... we are going to "Pretty Woman". It's 20 years old and it's playing in my cinema, where I work. I was a bit young the first time round so I'm looking forward to some Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, Popcorn and Malteasers. Couldn't ask for a better Valentines than that, to be honest.
Probably go out for a boogie and drink after. :)

There was another film just entitled "Peter Pan" which came out a few years ago - I know this because a few people I went to school with at the time had a strange and kind of age-inappropriate thing for the guy who played Peter. I never even saw the film, but got a blow-by-blow of its events on many occasions, so feel like i did.
Only watch Finding Neverland if you are prepared for a good cry. I remember seeing it on a transatlantic night flight while everyone else on the plane was sleeping, and i was just sitting there in my chair sobbing all by myself! Possibly one of the most depressing scenarios in which to find yourself ;p.
I think I'll watch Breakfast At Tiffany's, Love Actually, and probably West Side Story. Like you said, I don't think Valentine's Day is necessarily about being with your significant other. I'm going to spend the day with my friends and family that I love. Yes, it would be nice getting a boquet of roses or big soft teddy bear, but I'm perfectly okay louging around watching movies with the fam.! This was a very happy vlog, congrats to your friend, Ashley!

I love you for saying peter pan. It is one of the best! I also really like the sound of music. Julie Andrews is amazing! The other two I haven't seen.. but maybe i'll rent them or something, because they have the best recommendations behind them. Especially since this year, i'm sick with flu.. so a few great movies couldn't hurt. My favorite part about valentines day is that after valentines day.. you can get ridiculously cheap candy! gosh, i'm such a kid. :)
