Music is an art form whose medium is sound. Common elements of music are pitch hich governs melody and harmony, rhythm and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation dynamics, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture. The creation, performance, significance, and even the definition of music vary according to culture and social context. Music ranges from strictly organized compositions and their recreation in performance, through improvisational music to aleatoric forms. Music can be divided into genres and subgenres,

That was pretty cool. I've been looking forward to something like this for a while now, so I'm glad i logged on when i did. My laptop has ceased to work but as soon as I can get online, I don't check my mail first, I check SoGoPro! (That's a compliment if you were wondering).

I like your sounds Jill. You've a lovely voice, real easy on the ears. I'm glad I got to hear you when I did. You don't really get to listen to fresh talent in the UK unless you have the money (which as a student I do not). So we're stuck with the radio since the internet here sucks. Good luck! As soon as I get the paisa's, I'll definately buy your EP! Or, you could just come to the UK and throw us a free gig... thought not..

SoGoPro...you remain as ever, a massive inspiration for me, if it weren't for you guys I wouldn't be following my dreams as a storyboard artist, so even if it means little to you guys - THANK YOU, KEEP IT UP!!

I am whatever I wish to be.

First things first, another beauiful voice to the "SOGOPRO". Can't wait to see more from you Jill!

I was actually just watched a video of you (Hilarie). When you first got you're job with One Tree Hill, and you were travelling back and forth to New York every weekend to do you're job with TRL. And how you talked about wanting you're own production company one day. And look at you now Hilarie, you've brought some of the best people with you. And you're making "SOGOPRO" something nobody else would ever do. And it's just so amazing to know if you put you're heart and soul into something you can make that dream come true. You've come to the internet world to connect every body all over the world, and you've done so much more then that. And you've even brought music, art, podcasting, and vblogs and blogs to this beautiful company. And I just can't wait for more Hilarie, Nick, and Kelly!

Thank you Sogopro & Denise to introduce Jill by this podcast. I'm living in Belgium and I hope I can go to North Carolina one day . On my " things to do" list, I will add " go to a Jill Andrews live concert''. When I listen to Jill's music, I feel I'm already there a bit. So, thank you for this and for your hard work. I wish you all the best and, by the way, I love you Hilarie ;) Take care of you, Denise.

I just downloaded Jill's EP off of itunes- I love it! "These words" is probably my favorite thus far.

Thanks SoGoPro & "podcaster Denise" for this new segment addition to the SoGoPro podcast.

I got the EP too. Gorgeous music. Had it on repeat all morning. These Words is my favourite too. She is incredibly soulful. Love the lyrics too.

I find that what a lot of people fail to realise is that the radio is not the only place where you can hear music.  Personally I can't stand the radio (except for the exception of 1 station...), and I can't remember the last time I listened to it.
Though what I do remember is on any consecutive day, you will hear the same songs at least 10 times.  That's the problem with Popular Music.  It annoys me.  It's brainwashing, and the people who listen to it really don't know what they're missing out on.  I figure it's because they're too lazy to source something great.

Denise said, "I choose what I listen to."  *claps* to that!  If only more people did.  It's just such a shame.

Jill Andrew's you're awsome and have an incredible EP.  Love "These Words".
I found it fascinating to learn that you used to work with kids.  But like you said, you're helping people each and everyday without even realising it.  Now that's powerful medicine.

Ah SGP...this is an brilliant segment and I am so looking forward to all future installments.

Thanks everyone for the kind words on the new music podcast. As I said, it was a natural progression to go from highlighting the music to talking with the artists and introducing them and what drives them to make music. In the future we hope to introduce you to even more great artists. The SoGoPro Music Podcast is just another extension of SoGoPro and it is a wild and fun ride to be along for.

I hope you continue to support this amazing new podcast and get excited for the AWESOME artists we have lined up in the future.

I think this music podcast is great. Can't wait for more of them .I've enjoyed alot of the short clips we usually get the SGP podcast, and its great to have even more focus on the music.
