Nicholas Gray

Nicholas Gray
is an alumnus of the Emerson College Honors Program with a Bachelor’s Degree in Television/Video Production, graduating Magna Cum Laude and as a member of the Gold Key Honors Society. Upon graduation, he worked as an actor in New York, earned a prestigious internship with top casting agency Bernard Telsey Casting, and after a relocation to Wilmington, NC, worked as a theater critic for StarNews, a subsidiary of The New York Times, all invigorating his interests in writing. His first venture as a writer was Pedestrian, the feature script that has since partnered him with Southern Gothic Productions and grounded him in Wilmington. He continues to develop the projects that followed - a second feature, The Devil's Deepest Wile, two high-concept television series, The New Gothic and Gazette, and two full-length plays, Population: 8 and The Dying Words of Edison Strange. Population: 8 was awarded with a reading at The Process Group’s Required Reading Series Vol: II, and had its World Premiere at the 13th Annual New York International Fringe Festival. His union with Southern Gothic is equal parts mentorship and inspiration, through which he has been afforded the great opportunities of creating and writing the web series Friendship Union Community Theater, writing and directing the short film the true-love tale of Boyfriend and Girlfriend, scripting their upcoming graphic novel, and of course, becoming an avid blogger.
