- Good Friends, Good Deeds
My Friends, I need your help!So those of you who watched One Tree Hill are sure to remember Bryan Greenberg. Good ol' Jake. He's like a brother to me, which is not what the Jeyton fans want to hear.....but regardless, he's family.
- New and old faces...From my ideal cat bird seat here in the production office, I see the positive fruits of our hard labors with the film incentive by the busy flow of traffic and crew past my windows. It's been a long time coming... too long since we've been this busy. Not everybody is back at work but I'm confident that the films are going to continue to pick NC as their location and putting our filmmakers to work for several years to come.Big ol' Crush
When I fall, I fall hard. And professionally speaking, I have fallen head over heels for the folks on White Collar! A few months ago it was announced that I'd been picked up as a guest on the USA Network show. I'm gonna just lay it out there......I was as nervous as a pig at the butcher about going back to work. My job on One Tree Hill was a rare thing. It was my first TV job, and it went on and on for years! Now, most shows are cancelled after 6 episodes. I did well over 100 on OTH. It was a comfortable, wonderful place for me. So imagine my fear about hopping into bed with another show!
Another Birthday? The month of July is filled with many friend's birthdays, a couple that are special to me are Hilarie's and of course mine! However, with that said the one that I celebrate with millions of others on this day is America's.
someone's got a birthday going on!hey ya'll! guess the heck what? it's Hilarie's birthday!!! won't you kindly join me in celebrating my most magical friend?
Book Club, how I've missed thee!!!
I'm on a kick folks!
We haven't had book club in a bit, and that's my fault. It does not mean, however, that i have ceased reading voraciously. In fact, it's been a spring of very good books!
What's new at SoGoProFriends,
Over the last few weeks we have had several positive meetings with our business partners that are trying to raise money for our projects. As I've mentioned before... raising $ for films is kinda tough, especially in this economic recession. However, because of their hard work, they've found couple of investors that have expressed interest in us that we're going to meet over the next few weeks and hopefully bring them onto the team.

It feels like every other day, a new disaster strikes somewhere on this tiny little planet. We here at SoGoPro believe strongly in "community", and so helping one's neighbor is a no brainer. When I saw this article today, I had to post it. Donating hair??? There are plenty of places to donate money....but for those in our community who have been hit hard during this economy, this seems such a tangible and easy way to help the situation in the Gulf Coast.
A Pitch Meeting...I met a wonderful writer last weekend who pitched me a story that was truly amazing.
Before the meeting, I didn't want to like the project... what little I could find out about the story online didn't feel like something that I wanted to be spending a whole lotta time on... to be totally honest some of the subject matter was a little strong for my taste.

Friends - Old & New...Today we hit a milestone, 9000 followers on Twitter. That's a pretty large number and we're really happy that we have so many great people that share our passion for SoGoPro. It takes a community to support a belief and the SoGoPro community has been standing by us from Day 1. The wonderful positive feedback from all of you along with the support of the Street Team keeps us motivated.
Good Hair and Bitchin Dance MovesJust a heads up all you SoGoPro family members....
Today is my Nick's birthday! Muse, Model, Best Friend, Bully....he is so many things to me, and the driving creative force behind our Southern Gothic utopia. A special man deserving of special things.
The last time we were in LA together, we had our fortunes told by a babe of a Gypsy. On his birthday, this is what I see for our dear Mr. Gray......
An abundance of good hair days.
Jason Stackhouse abs.
An inspiring summer that produces gorgeously twisted writing.
